    EDIT:

I believe I found a lead on my issue. I am noticing that the plugin does not work when I select “Full size” as the size option for my imagery. The plugin works great with all other default image sizes. I hope this helps.

I had high hopes for this plugin based off all of the astounding reviews, but unfortunately the plugin seems to not be working at all.

    Wordpress: 5.5.3
    Gallery Custom Links: 2.0.6

I am really hoping that my issue is due to “user error”, but I have tried every possible combination of solutions in order to get the plugin working. I am using the default media gallery, so nothing fancy or crazy going on there. The plugin fields appear in the settings area which I am able to update and change just fine. I receive no errors. I am straight up baffled.

Does the gallery need any specific requirements or settings? Does it matter if the original “Link to” setting needs to be None, Media File, or Attachment Page? No matter which option I try, it seems as though the plugin refuses to override anything.

I also noticed in some documentation that I should be looking for a specific “wp-image-xxxx” class on the image which I am not seeing appear.

Are there any plugins you have encountered in the past that have caused issues with your plugin?
