    Hi there,

I have bought the premium plugin Real Media Library last week, tested it a bit, and then found this add-on after browsing through the available extensions for the plugin.

After installing this add-on, I have deleted the “virtual” folders which where previously created.

Unfortunately, it does not do anything (I have checked this by looking via FTP on my server).

I have also checked the server permissions and both (uploads and plugin folder) have 755 as permission.

Creating real physical folders in wp-content/uploads is my final goal because I have to manage hundrets of photos.

What can I do to get this to work?

    I really need this functionality.

Thanks in advance for some help.

    Hi there!

This plugin only handles newly uploaded files. Moving files from one folder to another can be very difficult to handle + updating references. Have you tried to upload a new file directly to a RML folder? This file should be placed to the right physical folder in wp-content/uploads.

    Best regards,
    Matthew ??

    Hi,

Thank you for the fast answer and sorry that I couldn’t reply earlier.

I have tested the functionality as you have described and yes, it works.
It’s a bit wired when virtual folders, like in my case, which were previously created, come into play too.

It works, so I’m happy – thank you your help.

    Kind regards
