I just went to my Facebook page because I wondered why my numbers had dropped drastically. Because every post I’ve made to Facebook is showing my home page image instead of the post image? Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hello @beezer26164,

Facebook always displays the image set in the og:image tag in you blog’s meta data. If no such tag is set, Facebook can’t find the right picture and will choose any image from your site or display no image at all.

You can either add the respective parameters to the HTML of your Website or blog or let Blog2Social do this job for you.

For more information on Open Graph tags in general and how to set them in your blog posts, please read the following FAQ: https://www.blog2social.com/en/faq/content/4/108/en/what-are-og-open-graph-tags-for-facebook.html

The following feature is checked: Add Open Graph meta tags to your shared posts or pages, required by Facebook and other social networks to display your post or page image, title and description correctly.

So what do I do now?

    Hello @beezer26164,

If the option is checked, please look at your meta data to see if the meta tags have been set correctly.
If you send us a link to one of the blog posts you wanted to share here: https://service.blog2social.com/en/question?o=faq
or answer to the mail I’ve send you, then we can check this for you.

If the meta tags are set correctly, Facebook will show the picture.

Please make sure that the image you want Facebook to display is set as the “Featured Image” in WordPress in your blog post! This is necessary for the image to show up correctly.

    I have this same issue.

But the B2S Facebook page post is pulling in the website’s logo instead.
The Twitter post uses the correct twitter:image.

    Hello @kevam

Please send us a link to the blog post you wanted to share and a screenshot of how it is displayed on your Facebook page, so I can take a look at it. Please use this link to send us the message:
    https://service.blog2social.com/en/question?o=faq

Please also let us know whether you are using other plugins that set open graph tags, too, such as Yoast SEO. If two or more plugins set tags, Facebook can’t decide which ones are right and takes whatever image they feel like is relevant.
