The plugin is publishing my Google ID on every page of my website and I cannot find a setting that will hide it.

How can I stop this without deactivating the plugin?

    Thanks

    Hey @dice2dice,

    Hope you’re well.

If you are referring to “Google Verification” settings, there is no option for hiding it. And as far as I know, it is necessary to show on all pages if you want to use it on every page.

Hey fellas! Just want to add, this is not a security issue. This is required by Google if you are using the verification setting it is meant to be public. You can read more about it here. Thanks!

There is problem with the ‘meta tag from Google’ setting. In the head section of a website instead of showing <meta name="google-site-verification" content="GOOGLE_CODE.html" /> the plugin shows plain google code. Browsers interpret it as a body element and display right after the <body> tag. It is a serious bug.
