Plugin is slick…recommended

  • Great plugin! I like the precise control over forms and the ability to add classes and styles, etc. The plugin author has also been very responsive to any questions I had. I’m using the pro version — highly recommended!

    Hey there,

    Sorry to hear you switched plugins. What you’re describing sounds more like a MailChimp “issue” because the plugin doesn’t do the actual sending of emails, it only tells MailChimp to subscribe a person with optional additional merge data. From what you’re describing it sounds like this worked without any problems.

    MailChimp then sends out the confirmation e-mails etc, my guess is they were just delayed. MailChimp queues their emails so if an email fails to send, they will try again later.

    Nothing wrong with Aweber and a hard-coded form though! ?? Just wanted to clarify.

    Thanks Danny – the mailchimp emails never came -even after 24 hours. So I guess something’s up on their end.

    But…I’m setting up another WordPress site, so I’ll try your Pro plugin on that one and see if anything changes. Thanks for clarifying – I do like your plugin’s functionality!
