plugin is still loading font-awesome 4.7.0

Hello, i spent the last several hours trying to find out why the social icons do not display in the contact widgets widget. it appears to be due to the plugin is loading font-awesome 4.7.0 and my theme is using 5.0. i read your other “resolved” topics to add additional css to the theme, which works, but why are you still loading FA 4.7? i’d rather not have my site loading an old FA lib if it’s not being used. at least an option to not load FA 4.7 would be nice. thank you.
