    Hi ncfan20130,
Okay, there could be a couple of problems. First, your team_id is most likely not correct. You should use the SLUG, not the NAME. As far as the “View Page”, it does not work with these custom post types. Someday maybe it will, but not today.

I don’t log into users’ admin pagea, but if you sent me the URL for the page on the front end, that can often prove useful.

Please be sure to review the documentation on the Shoal Summit Solutions website.

    Mark,

Thanks for the quick response. The slug is correct, but it still will not display:

    Thank you.

    Hummm,
It would appear to me that no players are assigned to the team with the norcal slug. I am very sure that this piece of the plugin works. Please double check your players, their assigned teams, and teams’ slugs.

It looks like there may be a conflict with the theme that I am using. Under the plugin tab there are two “Team” sections. I am assuming that is not normal, correct?

    Correct.

Must be a conflict then because it added the team I created to my sites team schedule and that is a plugin built into the site.

I’m now not quite sure what you mean by “under the plugin tab”. There should be a TEAMS menu item under the TEAM ROSTERS menu item in your admin dashboard. That’s the only TEAM item that appears anywhere related to the TEAM ROSTERS plugin. There should be one TEAM ROSTERS entry on your INSTALLED PLUGINS admin screen. If you see at TEAMS entry anywhere else, it’s coming from somewhere other than the TEAM ROSTERS plugin. Did you maybe install something twice? If you can send me a screenshot or two, that might help.

    Mark,

No I tried re-installing the plugin too. Under the TEAM ROSTERS menu there were two “Team” tabs. That’s when I figured out that when I added a team it actually added a another team under the scores/fixtures tab which is included in this theme:

    https://67.222.3.135/~nc01/scores/

These scores are pulled from one team that I created. When I created team ‘norcal’ using your plugin it also added the team to my scores tab (which is completely unrelated to your plugin).

That’s when I figured it was a theme/plugin compatibility issue.

Okay. I did a little digging, and I choose a really bad name for the team taxonmy, TEAMS of all things. So a conflict is certainly possible.

What’s very strange is that the theme’s TEAMS menu item appears in the Team Rosters plugin’s menu.

Thanks for taking the time to bring this to my attention. I can easily change the TEAMS name, however that will break all existing installations of the plugin upon upgrade. So I have to proceed cautiously.

    Mark,

Could you tell me what specific code I need to change? That way I can implement it on my site as a custom plugin for now? That would be great!

Or if you want to email it to [email protected] as the complete plugin with the update taxonomy (if that is easier). Thank you.
