  • I am also looking for same solution. Please let me know if anyone have any idea about it

I am looking for the same thing, somebody please help! Hate to give up on this plugin just cause I can’t designate a required field. I must be missing something, pretty standard form feature.

Ok, if I got it right, I think it has been (partly) discussed here at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-jazzy-forms-input-validation?replies=2 and Igor says it’s still on his pending list which can be tracked at https://github.com/l90r/jazzy-forms-dev/issues/73

Here, I am assuming that the obligatory elements referred to is the mandatory fields (I may be wrong)

I was also searching for a way to mark particular fields as “Required”. Seems like this would be already built in considering how well-constructed this plugin is. Hope for this to be included in a near future release. Until then, my users can send forms without ever entering an email address!

I haven’t tested it, but if you want a required field, you should be able to go into the code, and add the required snippet to the fields you want required… In theory that should work, but like I said, I haven’t tested it… Though I might now that I’m typing this, cause I want to know.

What would that code be, gijoe?

I have the same problem. I put required=”required” to the fields I am interested in and I changed the email button from type=”button” to type=”submit” now the warning about required field works but the problem is that then the form is sent to me even if the warning about required field appears – and then the message about success also apears.

How to change the email function to work with required snippet? Do you have aby idea guys?
