Styling of the h3 should definitely be an option. It really isn’t good etiquette to override the styling of a custom theme.

Ok, it may interest someone, in my case I was using a black background and the “Leave a Reply” text was unreadeble, my solution was invert colors by changing the php comments of Jetpack.

Edit the file jetpack/modules/comments/comments.php

Find the following:
var $default_color_scheme = 'light';

Change to:
var $default_color_scheme = 'dark';

It may be useful for someone but will not help the width and height problems for someothers.

@leolatex I believe the “dark” and “light” options are available from the plugin settings page…no need to edit the file.

Do it. For the love of god.

We’ve added the reply-title H3 to the comment form in Jetpack 2.2.3. You should now be able to style that heading from your theme stylesheet, or using the Custom CSS editor integrated into Jetpack.

For those who just want to hide the Greeting Text (“Leave your comment” etc.), AKA “reply title”, just put this in your style.css:

#reply-title { display: none; }

I updated to 2.2.5. I’ve had the following in the “Greeting Text” field of Jetpack Comments:

Please keep your comments smart, civil, and limited to the subject matter.

It doesn’t overwrite, and it just displays “Leave a reply”. Anyone else that can replicate it?

I’m hoping this is the right area to post my question about the Jetpack comments feature. I’m a complete newbie to WordPress!

So my question: On the comments section, right hand side there are three little icons; WordPress,twitter and facebook.

How can I change the wordpress icon to my own icon?
