[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] installed but not working

    I just installed this thing. I don’t really understand much, but it seems that we are kind of forced to use this plugin now. Or not?
    Anyway. I installed it. And when I clock on configuring any of the tools offered by the plugin, I click configure, and it goes back to the dashboard, on any of the configure links on all the tools of this thing.
    So, does it work or not? And can I still use wp as always in the future without needing this plugin?

  • I’m afraid I can’t help you with the configuration problem, but I can tell you you don’t need to have this plugin installed to run WP – it adds some handy features, that’s all.
