  • I’ve got the same problem here. Would be nice if there’ll be a fix for this or at least an explanation!

Could you try disabling other plugins, please? We’ve been finding this is caused by conflicts with antispam-type solutions.

Okay, thank you. It works now since I’ve deactivated “Antispam Bee”

Yep, seeing this too… Too bad since Antispam Bee is such a powerful spam blocker and Jetpack comments are really nice.

Think I’ll stick with Antispam Bee for now. Nice commenting form is, well… nice. But the hassle of the huge amount of spam being thrown at my site is a lot less nice ??

I do hope these two plugins can somehow be made to work together.

    +1 that.

The good news seems to be that if I deactivate the Jetpack Comments component of Jetpack,

    1. my users can still take advantage of the ability to subscribe to be notified about new comments
    2. I don’t need to deactivate AntiSpam Bee
    3. So all I am losing is the integration of comments with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, G+ etc

    I have the same problem.
I’m disabling the Jetpack Comments module as well until this is resolved.
My visitors being able to reply and spam protection are an absolute priority.

Disabling the module: click on “Learn More.” The “Configure” button will change to “Deactivate” (missed that the first time around).
