  • I concur. The “email” sharing function is not working via Jetpack’s sharedaddy (due to today’s new update). *Sigh*

    Thanks WordPress for looking into this!

    Is there any way to bring back the regular sharing functionality (simply bringing up facebook/twitter, etc. in a new window, and not using a script at the bottom of the page? The old JetPack sharing had an option to use (old) icons, which was less code heavy and didn’t use as much javascript. Please help.

    @sanuja.com – Can you verify you have latest version of plugin installed? If so, can you refresh your browser’s cache and see if this helps.

    @bhull7, as answered in another thread, the fix for the email sharing option is in latest version of 1.6.1. You will may need to reinstall version 1.6.1 and refresh your browser cache.

    @Eoion,
    The version I have for jetpack is Version 1.6.1 and the WordPress version is Version 3.4.1.

    The problem is still there for some reason….

    Thank you for the Jetpack pulg-in.

    @Eoion,
    I cleared the browser cache several times and now it works. Thank you. But I think this is going to be a problem for most retuning visitors to the site. Oh yes… I am still looking into fixing the email issue.

    I don’t mind not having the email option. But for your information, the email option is not working at all. I have re-enabled the sharing option on my site and you can check it out if you want.

    Thank you.
