  • A side effect of broken stats, is that most readed post widget show nothing.

Reverted back to v.1.7 and now it’s ok.

Just discovered and did the upgrade and got the same problem, don’t understand why this upgrade isn’t withdrawn, the problem was known by now! I downgraded to 1.7 again from my back-up and the stats are working again.

How do you revert back to v.1.7?

How do you revert back to v.1.7?

I restore one day ago backup of jetpack folder

Same here. Let’s hope cfinke is right, and this will be resolved within 9 hours from now…

Why so long? I’m going outta my gord here without my stats on the admin page. It’s such an convience and when it breaks, it’s like losing a limb.

Can we hurry it up a little? Please?

    crud…

I downloaded the 1.7 and when I tried to upload and install. I got this:

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

….and naturally, I don’t have access to that. I don’t think, I have reseller hosting. So, I am offically farked until the code monkeys decide to release an update.

So want to switch to Moveable Type/Typepad at times… :-/

There’s no need to downgrade, because stats are being collected, just aren’t displayed. If you want to view them just go to: https://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/

Login using the account you have Jetpack connected to.

    rox_lukas, THANKS!

stats are being collected, just aren’t displayed

    yes, it’s true

    There’s no need to downgrade

    not completely true, because

A side effect of broken stats, is that most readed post widget show nothing

No update is available in my dashboard – so it’s not resolved as far as I’m concerned. ??

Tried out the much hyped mobile theme last night. Embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos do not show. And the images are not aligned. Plus if you are using a landing page, there is no way to get to the blog posts or select category’s of postings. The only thing on the menus are pages.

Wptouch does a much better job as a mobile theme.

    Doc

I downloaded the 1.7 and when I tried to upload and install. I got this:
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

it happens because zip file you try to upload exceeds your hosting config

….and naturally, I don’t have access to that. I don’t think, I have reseller hosting. So, I am offically farked until the code monkeys decide to release an update.

have you ftp access? simply unzip and upload, replacing wp-content/plugins/jetpack

This is obviously not resolved since there is no new release. Time to revert to old version that works!

Having the same issue… no update in my dashboard either.

just wondering how this got marked as resolved reverting to an old version should definitely not count as a resolution at least imo.

Also having the issue. Glad they are already working on it.
