    I want to allow my commenters the option of subscribing only to replies made to their comments, as opposed to all replies on the whole post. Some posts can get lots of comments and it just becomes annoying trying to filter through the noise of notifications looking for the one reply that is relevant to your comment.

    I was using the Subscribe to Comments Reloaded plugin to achieve the ‘Subscribe to Comment Replies only’ functionality, however when I enabled JetPack Comments for the social network integration, that broke the Subscribe to Comments Reloaded plugin.

    I would really love to see a “Subscribe to Replies Only” feature in the JetPack Subscriptions module.

    In the meantime, if anyone has any advice for hooking into either the Comments module or the Subscription module to allow Subscribe to Comments Reloaded to be used, that would be much appreciated!

    This isn’t currently possible, though I will pass along the suggestion.

    You can’t hook into the Comments module to make Subscribe to Comments Reloaded work since this is loaded via an iFrame. For Subscriptions, you can take a look at the code in the modules/subscriptions.php file. There’s already an override there; you could do something similar for yours. Note, however, that if you modify this file you will need to continue updating it each time Jetpack updates.
