[Plugin: JF3 Maintenance Redirect] this plugin is a life saver!

  • man I can’t tell you how many redirection tricks I tried and nothing worked. This plugin solved the problem of keeping a site private before going live while having the old site or a temp site up in an elegant way.

    One suggestion for improvement is: allow us to customize the message the invitees receive in the email.

  • i also love this plugin. one other feature request – it would be great to set the level of access by user role. now only admins can get past the maintenace mode but it would be great to have the option of setting any logged in user – or maybe just editor and above for example – to be able to get past the maintenace mode.

    there is a plugin called ‘lock out’ that does that but doesn’t have your other great features.

    another useful feature would be to have the wp admin bar on the edit page so we could quickly build a rich text maintenace page.
