[Plugin: JJ NextGen JQuery Slider] Thumbnail Load Is Very Slow/Delayed

The first photo of a gallery shows up in appropriate time, but the strip of thumbnails takes a long time to load and appear. Any workaround?
P.S. Great work on the upgrade that accommodates seamless fade in/fade out of photos if different aspect ratios.
