• I’m wondering if there is a way to control the formatting of the emails sent to an HR administrator, a la Contact Form 7?

  • Not at the moment, it only sends plain text emails. The upcoming 0.7 release adds the ability to restrict which fields are included in the emails.

What formatting ability are you after in particular?

Formatting along the lines of what we can do with the job list template and the individual job template. The whole build-a-table-with-embedded-shortcodes thing. This is what’s possible with contact-form-7, if you’re familiar with that plugin.

The problem is that my client has a problem with reading what she calls the “messy emails” because she’s used to the old system we built for her that produced pretty HTML emails. So she’s spoiled.

She and her HR department LOVE this plug-in and are trying to get approval to send you a sizable donation. Not that I’m trying to offer a bribe, but to let you know they think your work kicks ass!

I certainly see how your client would like this – I know the emails are a bit ugly.

I’ll add this to the 0.8 release, due out in June/July.

Great to know that they love the plugin! If they have any other feedback, feel free to pass it on – I certainly want to hear how it’s being used in the real world. ??
