[Plugin: Job Manager] Job detail/category permalink

Hi,
I installed the plugin and it’s working good except permalinks.
I looked for a solution here and found it’s been fixed with new version of the plugin.
Here is the problem:
WP version: 3.2.1
permalink structure: /%year%/%category%/%postname%
Job Manager version: 0.7.18

Jobs creation works good. jobs listing page lists everything correctly.
When I click on a job to see deatails, or a category, permalink is ok but it keeps opening my index.php.

I found out the problem is becouse of my theme (maybe in header?) and I’m trying to fix it.
Changing theme all works good.
I must confess I made some strong modifications to the theme so my questions are:
– are jobs treated like pages or posts?
– maybe, do I miss something in header.php or somewhere that is strongly needed?
– may .htaccess code have something to do with it?

some notes:
changing theme it works (so no conflicts with other plugins)
changing permalinks structure to default ?p=123 it works

I know my issue is strongly connected with my theme so maybe it’s not helpful with other users, bud I wonder to use your plugin so please help me..
