Doing a little reading, I see that the use of BCE and CE is growing in popularity.

I’ll look seriously at that as part of making the plugin “translation-ready” even though this is not technically a language or regional usage issue.

It is tempting to make the choice between the two systems (CE v.s. AD, etc.) an Admin setting for the plugin, but it really should be a site visitor choice.

Any thoughts on implementation? Because most people that I know have never even heard of BCE and CE, but are familiar with B.C. and A.D. i.e. – it needs to be a choice.

All that said, thank you for bringing this to my attention!

I have begun work on making this an Admin Setting: BCE, B.C. or disallow dates prior to 1 A.D./CE.

That and a couple of improvements will be out in Version 2 in the not too distant future, i.e. – as my time allows.

    Comments, as always, are appreciated.

Version 2.0 is now out, which addresses this issue, and also provides in-line Help, rather than linking to the plugin’s home web site.
