[Plugin: Joomla/Mambo To WordPress Migrator] Successful migration from Joomla 1.5.20 to WordPress 3.

  • Hello all,

    I’ve just used the latest version of the plugin (1.7.1 at time of writing this) to convert my site from Joomla to WordPress.

    As mentioned in the topic heading, I went from version 1.5.20 of Joomla to 3.4.1 of WordPress.

    One caveat, I needed to comment out all references to set_time_limit since my hosting company does not allow access to that function.

  • I am having a problem migrating users from a joomla 1.5.25 site to a wordpress 3.1.5 site.

    I am able to connect to the joomla database but the only options are categories posts etc.

    I have checked the migrate users box in the settings.

    ANy help would be muchly appreciated.
