    Never mind. Read more of the documentation and saw that I have to edit the code I have it working now. Now, I’m trying to see if there is a way to make it push down the page content rather than overlay it. Anyone know how to do that?

    @cbattle,

    Where can I find the documentation or can you help me please?

    Hi, I must be missing something!
    I’ve spent hours two separate days on the documentation page trying to find info on how to use the mega menu for my main menu horizontal menu across the top of the page.

    cbattle you said ” saw that I have to edit the code”, please where did you read this?? Which file do I need to edit and what code need I change?? Thanks in advance.

    I greatly appreciate a simple forward direction on:
    How to use the mega menu for my main menu horizontal menu across the top of the page.

    I noticed someone asked the same question on designchemical.com and they were told to follow the documentation. Please where is this other doc that I’m so obviously missing??

    The instruction in https://www.designchemical.com/blog/index.php/wordpress-plugins/wordpress-plugin-jquery-drop-down-mega-menu-widget/
    says:

    Installation
    Upload the plugin through ‘Plugins > Add New > Upload’ interface or upload ‘jquery-mega-menu’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
    Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
    In the widgets section, select the jQuery mega menu widget and add to one of your widget areas
    Select one of the WP menus, set the required settings and save your widget
    Useage
    In order to use this plugin you will need the following:

    A WordPress custom menu
    Either use an existing menu or set one up via the menu option in WordPress admin. Although the widget will work with any menu structure, for best results use 3 levels for the custom menu – see sample screenshot of custom menu structure below.

    I’ve done all that but no joy…

    So sorry my post is this long. Please help me out if you’ve used the plugin for horizontal main menu and it’s worked for you.

    @pinkmoon
    I don′t know if you solve this. What I did was to create a widget area in place of the main nav. Then you can style it up https://www.designchemical.com/blog/index.php/tutorials/wordpress-tutorial-create-your-own-custom-mega-menu-styles/

    I’m not sure if that is the best way to do it… but that’s where I got so far. Any ideas? ??

    Trying to do the same thing but I am using the WP theme Mantra. Can some one please help me?..FYI: I am code illiterate!!!

    @cbattle

    Did you ever figure out how to make the page content slide down so the menu doesn’t overlay it?

    Thanks.

    This looks like the exact menu setup i am after, however i am trying to find reference to replacing the main nav area with it, and not have it in the sidebar. Any thoughts ?

    Thanks

    @meccub: no, I never figured out how to do it and since the project was over-budget I had to leave it as is. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you. ??

    Hi, i installed this extension … Its very nice . but i want to display in my main menu.. how can i do that .. Can you suggest me to do this ASAp.

    I manually added this push page content to my clients site https://aasonn.com but because I changed core in order to do this, I cannot update WP :O

    So now I am looking for an alternative way to do this as well. This free theme has it built in so maybe I can dissect that code and incorporate this aspect into my theme. https://wpshower.com/demo/?theme=imbalance

    But I am also going to keep looking for a plugin. I thought I saw one a few weeks ago that did this.

    Hi all,

    I have installed jquery mega menu and make it activated.
    I have created menu and also give setting in widget area for jquery mega menu. How can i set no of columns in sub-menu?

    I made my columns by adding a CSS class in the Appearance Menu top menu item of each drop down column. so I used .col1, .col2, .col3, .col4 and then with my styles.css I gave them a percentage of width and wrote the CSS to make them float next to each other.
