I think Facebook strips the href in the feed. You can view the raw feed yourself by going to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer. Enter your Access Token and then in the box with “https://graph.facebook.com/” append “YOUR_FACEBOOK_ID/feed” so that it reads “https://graph.facebook.com/YOUR_FACEBOOK_ID/feed”. Then click “Submit”. If you can find the href in the raw feed, let me know and I’ll see what I can do about adding it. If Facebook doesn’t send the href in the raw feed then there isn’t much I can do.

I’ve confirmed it. I can see the link, it is in “message”: it shows the message I put + the link with the correct href. So it seems that hrefs are shown on FB raw feeds.

Can you give me an example to work with? Please give me a link to your Facebook page and tell me what post has a link in it. Also, a link to your workpress site where the plugin is located would be helpful as well. Thanks.

Is there any other way of letting u know that instead of this public forum?

Besides that, just tested a link with preview, and it works, but the links that the preview I’ve deleted aren’t working. So something’s wrong in between.

You can add a generic comment on my wordpress site at https://takanudo.com/jsl3-facebook-wall-feed/. When you add the comment it will ask for your email address. Your email address is not displayed on the site, but I’ll be able to see it and we can communicate that way, if you prefer.
