[Plugin: JSON API] What is the easiest way to programmatically determine if json_api is running?

I’ve noticed that is_feed isn’t being set and while there are a number of filters, I couldn’t seem to find an easy way to determine if json_api is executing a query and thus if a filter I have on the_content should execute or not.

Can you add a hook so that I can determine if your plugin is making a the request?
