[Plugin: JSON API] Will plugin work to return a search result?

Hi! I am in need of an API for my site: https://www.sellmybooks4cash.com to supply sites like bookfinder.com with pricing results from ISBN pricing searches. Would this plugin allow for that? And if so… I am completely ignorant when it comes to JSON, API’s, and well, just about everything else dealing with this! So any info would be greatly appreciated, and if I could get somebody to help for a nominal fee that would be great also!
