Plugin language file won’t work

  • Am trying to localise my plugin but it does not work.

    Plugin: WP Photo Album Plus

    in the beginning of the plugin’s .php i have the line:

    load_plugin_textdomain('wppa', 'wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/langs/', 'wp-photo-album-plus/langs/');

    The file wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/langs/wppa-nl_nl.mo exists as well as wppa-nl_nl.po, both made with Poedit 1.4.4

    The standard wp language file wp-content/languages/nl_nl.mo works fine.

    What am i doing wrong? Please help me.
