    Hey Robert,

    Just made some research to find a list of public wms servers avalaible for french territory. I added them in Google Doc but i have a question. Do you want to list all layers ? as some of these servers have a pretty large quantity of layers. Perhaps better to advise users to use an open-source tool such as JSON to find all layers and the one they are interested in ?

    Hi Vincèn,
    thanks for contributing to the public wms server list.
    Listing all layers would be a bit too much I guess – this topic would perfectly fit for a FAQ or tutorial. Would you like to contribute one? ??

    For sure would be happy to contribute to an FAQ to explain how to use JOSM tool to get all layers avalaible from a WMS server. Where should I post it ? here or somewhere else ? pretty limited formatting here !
