If i understand correctly, you’d like to know when the WooCommerce Legacy REST API extension will be available, correct?

The dedicated Legacy REST API extension is already available for download in the www.ads-software.com plugins directory, as of January 17, 2024.

I have applied it but it is conflicting with many plugins including woocommerce payments. Please advise.

It was the high performance order storage, which is recommended so I have turned it off for now.

That’s great to hear. However, did you enable the “Enable compatibility mode (synchronizes orders to the posts table)” along with HPOS? Didnt it resolve the issue?

If you need to use those extensions that aren’t compatible with HPOS yet, we suggest you keep using the legacy WordPress posts storage.

Also, if you’re using a third-party plugin that doesn’t seem to work well with HPOS, it would be great if you could reach out to its developers and request them to integrate HPOS support.

It was the high performance order storage, which is recommended so I have turned it off for now.

The Legacy REST API extension is not compatible with HPOS so, if you install and activate it, you will indeed see a warning about this (assuming HPOS is active).

This is, in part, one of the reasons we are removing it: the legacy REST API has been deprecated for many years now, and doesn’t work perfectly with HPOS. It is still possible to activate it and ignore the warning, but you will probably need to ensure you enable Compatibility Mode.
