[Plugin: Lightview Plus] 2.4.1 not working – js errors. 2.3.6 works fine.

  • Lightview Plus isn’t working in IE and I am getting these errors in IE with the latest version 2.4.3

    Go ahead and ignore the Message: Invalid argument., that was being generated by a different plugin. However the first one is clearly from the Lighview Plus plugin. Is this a prototype issue that cannot be solved?

    Well, i completely removed lightview plus, cleared the backup and set it all up from scratch, it is now working fine again. I imagine this started happening when I did an auto upgrade of the plugin at some point.

    I don’t remember now but I’m fairly sure we traced this problem to me rewriting my jquery source to go to the newest jquery that wasn’t released and supported yet (elsewhere in functions.php). I believe WordPress modifies jquery a little bit and puts it into a more compliant mode, so it wasn’t the best idea.
