[Plugin: Like Gate] Not linking to Facebook

This is a great plugin and exactly what I was looking for, however it doesn′t seem to do what I expect, let me try to explain.
The plugin hides the text I have in between the short codes and it is revealed when a user clicks the like button. This works very nicely, however nothing is posted to Facebook. I′m unsure if this is conflicting with another plugin or something else.
