[Plugin: Like This] Text Appears On Same Line When "Liked"

Hello,

First I’d like to say that I did modify this plugin a little bit. But, it was only to change what the text said and add a <br/> and some other code. However, for some reason when a user likes a post, the text jumps to just one line.

That might sound a little confusing, so hopefully this example will help. Here is the code before pressing like:
<strong>Like this post</strong><br/><span>2 Likes</span>

And here’s the code after the user presses like:
Like this post3 likes

So it seems for some reason it strips all my HTML code and pushes the text together. Do you know the reason for this? I would greatly appreciate a fix! Thank you!
