Plugin Limit?

  • Is there any limit on how many can I import from blogger to wordpress?

    I have blogger with 13000+ posts and I’m 2 days stuck on images part with 8504 / 9359

  • I was importing from a blog with about 1500 posts and several hundred images. It stopped at 900 posts, and never imported any images.

    The default Blogger importer, which uses a Blogger export file instead of the API, works better for getting all your posts. I have not been able to get it to import more than a few images, though.

    It’s a bit frustrating that the Blogger Importer Extended plugin gives you no way to chunk up your imports and/or schedule them so that you don’t run into the API limits. It’s also disappointing that it doesn’t tell you if it stopped working because it’s reached the API limit, or for some other reason.

    Sounds like you need a FAST server/hosting.

    I ran blogger and imported 3,000 posts and it only took about 4 hours

    A few hours ago I imported 2776 posts, 8 pages, and over 900 images using this plugin and it took about half an hour.
