• Hi! I am desperate. I spend more than two days non stop trying to fin a solution to this problem. Let me try to explain this in a logical way:

    1) My theme generates a lot of thumbnail sizes

    2) I wanted to use one of this sizes, for example, the one 696×285 px when I add media to a post

    3) IF I make this size available, using your plugin, the moment I finish uploading an image file I see something is wrong because in the list of available sites it shows the size name, for example BigImage and after it, shows 640×325… oops… 540 ? This is where the problems start.

    4) I insert the image in the post and then I see it in a browser. Opening the image properties in the browser inspector, it says the image is 696px wide, scaled to 640px… damn!

    5) If I turn off the sizes made available for media in your plugin, the problem goes away!

    Can you help please?

  • This is the same issue I just started having, perhaps something changed in wordpress core witht he latest update?

Nop, definitely now… I did further tests, and it’s not the plugin fault. I installed a clean installation of WP. With the default theme it works OK. When I switch to my theme, the problem starts.

The thing is, I haven’t done anything that would affect this, and it hasn’t been an issue until 4.6 came out.

OK… for me it was… actually in some of my installations I didn’t even update.
