[Plugin: List category posts] Featured image?

    Indeed:

    thumbnail – Show post thumbnail (https://markjaquith.wordpress.com/2009/12/23/new-in-wordpress-2-9-post-thumbnail-images/). Default is ‘no’. Ex: [catlist thumbnail=yes].

    Thanks for the reply- I actually found this method before but I don’t want thumbnails because that would mean images in the post. I don’t want images in the post because the posts contain videos. That’s why I thought using featuered images would be ideal becuase I could have the video in the post, then have a still from the video as the featured image, and that would show up as the thumbnail. Make sense?

    I guess I could always wrap the image in a div set to display:none and that would hide it in the post, while still generating a thumbnail. But that’s a hack I’d like to avoid…

    Could I somehow do it with custom fields?
