  • Hi,
Be sure your cache is empty and that you installed the latest version…
    Thanks for the feedback!

The same happens on my blog. I don’t use any cache plugin and have the latest version installed.

    Broken plugin. Won’t save settings.

And there’s no time zones for Australia.

    Deleted until there’s an update.

Agreed. I was really excited to install this plug-in and then very disappointed when it wouldn’t save the settings. If it helps the developer, I did not choose to add my event to the public AppChain Events directory, but that shouldn’t matter, right?

This plug-in has worked great for me.

As for the problems mentioned here… I had trouble using the settings on Tools -> Countdown Timer until I discovered that you care to be very careful to enter the time correctly. You should use this format “31 december 2009 15:00” for December 31 at 3pm. If you leave off the year otherwise make an error, it will fail to add the event.

About time zones… the widget itself does not deal in time zones. The time zone is based off of your WordPress settings, under Settings -> General -> Timezones. If this is correct then your countdown will be correct. Watch out for daylight saving time shifts, though. You need to reset your time zone going in and out of DST.

A new version is available. Update and let me know if you have any more issues with it.
    Thanks.
