plugin live sarch pop up wont search on Enter

i use the plugin Live Search Pop Up and i just realized then when you type something to search for and press Enter it does not work, you must click the search pic, or one of the listing results in the drop down menu of suggestions..

could someone please tell me how to make it so enter works, or please recommend a good plugin that has this same function?
