    Hello,

As I have several security plugins installed, I wanted to arrange the load order of these plugins via the simple but effective plugin “Plugin Load Order”.

When I re-arrange my plugins, this IP2Location Redirection plugin cannot be moved, and it always stays on place #2, after my Polylang plugin. All the other security plugins can be moved with no problems.

Why this plugin cannot be moved in the load order that I want? Can this be changed please?

    Thanks,

    Didier.

    Hi,

You cannot change the order. We purposely set this so it can have a higher priority to handle the page headers for redirection. Changing the priority will make this plugin stop working properly.

    Thanks for replying.

Allow me to challenge your arguments.

    1. I have another “Redirection” plugin (the #1) installed for URL redirects. I can move this plugin in any order that I want, and it still works fine.
    2. I have plugins to block bad traffic. I want these plugins to stop my traffic before I start to redirecting them to other pages. So it makes perfectly sense to load redirect plugins AFTER traffic blocking plugins. And not the other way around!

So there is nothing that you can change for the load order?

    Thanks,

    Didier.

Sorry, we will not be changing this at this moment. If there another plugin that rewriting headers that have higher priority, the redirection will not work.

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply. I will have to keep this plugin on the top, after the Polylang plugin that is still coming up before you guys. Not my fault ??

    We can close this ticket.

    Didier.
