So I love the plugin for all of it’s usecases, however quite often I get this error – forcing me to disable the plugin by going into the plugin-directory. Then…. I need a feature like svg upload or content duplication, and I go right back to installing it. It works for a day, but when I get back to the office and spin up my local site – I get this error (it also happens on live sites..)

Any idea what could be causing this?

Seems like the keyword is “local site”. ASE is not tested enough in local installations. What local environment do you use?

When you say “spin up my local site” do you simply run it and get the error, or do you login first and then the error show up?

I need to be able to reproduce the error based on information you provide, preferrably step-by-step. This will allow me to diagnose the issue correctly.

Thanks for your quick response! I’m using Local by flywheel. I can view the frontend of the site but I can’t access the admin-panel as I get the error. So I can’t really log in even.

It also happens when migrating to my server. But only sometimes.. I will try recreating it ?? Will let you know if I succeed.

Thanks. The error you’re seeing seems to be related to the Limit Login Attempts module. If you ever manage to login again, I suggest turning that module off in your local installs.

If you can access your database in Local, you can also try clearing out the wp_asenha_failed_logins table. Keep the table, clear out the data rows.

Marking this resolved for now as there hasn’t been any new reply in two months.
