• The other day my plugin was showing a “Register” link for new users. This was very good! With this update re my discussions with you on this or the previous plugin the register link no longer displays. What happened there?

This plugin will not be much use if users can not first register otherwise how will they know how to login with not first registering with an email address and receiving a generated password to there email.

If i put a custom HTML text Widget in the sidebar with a ‘Register’ link directing users to the standard wp register page the page loads but with the below error message? Is this somehow why the register link no longer shows in the login-with-ajax plugin also?

    https://examplesitename.com/blog/wp-login.php?action=register
Error:User registration is currently not allowed.

  • Hi Jaffasoft,

You probably need to enable registration in your General Settings from wp-admin. It won’t appear unless it’s possible to register, hence the issues when linking directly to the WP reg page.

I don’t know how on earth that setting got changed but weirder things have happened.
