• I have a problem with this plugin.
    It doesn’t show the link to “Register”.
    I read a post about the same issue and I allowed people to register in the general settings but it still does not show the link to regeneration.
    Please help!

    Thank you
    Kay

  • are you able to register via yoursite.com/wp-admin?

    Thank you for your reply.
    Yes I am able to registeer from mysite.com/wp-admin

    Is there any settings that I need to do?

    that should work then. I’d recommend you try disabling your other plugins, and if that doesn’t hlep, try using the twentyten theme, you can probably track down your problem to one plugin or theme causing the issue.

    i have the same problem.

    There is some function to call the register link? Example: <?php register_with_ajax();

    did you try the above?

    @dellanio are you using template tags or the widget?

    i have the same problem:
    using the template tag: [lwa]login_with_ajax()[/lwa]
    the register link only shows in either the modal or div-only versions of the widget_out.php file.

    i’m testing on a fresh install, no plugins, twentyten template on wordpress 3.0.4.

    any ideas?

    thanks

    just use [lwa]

    it might be that the two you mentioned aren’t working properly (registrations shouldn’t show up) and you don’t have register enabled (Settings > General)?

    I can get the register to work either :/

    I’m not that expirienced editing wordpress files. So a guide on how to get the register tab to show, will be nice..

    you shouldn’t need to modify any files to get registration working (as long as you don’t have a conflicting plugin like buddypress). you enable regisration in the wp admin are, put a widget in the sidebar and enable registration in the widget settings.

    I have enabled it. And the widget shows up just fine. I can login + everyting, which works just fine. But the register tab is not there.. :/

    if you log in by visiting yourblog.com/wp-admin to log in, do you see a register link?

    Ah stupid me :/ It’s now activated ?? Great plugin, works perfect!

    The only thing i’m missing was removing the “white faced background” begind the register box. It doesn’t fit me theme very well. Do you think that will be possbile?

    yes, probably easiest by tweaking your theme’s css

    It can not be tweaked in your plugin? I think that will be the easiest ??

    it wouldn’t because plugins are updated regularly and you’d lose yourc hanges each time
