    I tried to install the Mailchimp plugin for my premium theme, but I always get an error. If I try to install it manually, it says:

    object(WP_Error)#626 (2) { ["errors"]=> array(1) { ["plugins_api_failed"]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(219) "An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums." } } ["error_data"]=> array(1) { ["plugins_api_failed"]=> string(2) "N;" } }
    Something went wrong with the plugin API.

    when I tick the plugin and try to install it from the drop-down list, then it says:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Upgrader::construct() in /home/../inc/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 1859.

    I tried to search for this problem to solve the error, but could not find any solution. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance for any help!

    I am currently on 4.3

    Not sure what Premium theme/Mailchimp plugin you’re using, but please see if there’s an update available and if there is, upgrade and see if that solves it. If not, contact the developer to ask them to upgrade the included TGMPA library to the latest stable release.
    They seem to have included an old unstable develop snapshot which is causing this issue.

    Thanks for the help. The solution for my problem was quite strange. I could easily installed and activated the plugin called Mailchimp for WordPress Lite, but when I tried to install it from the recommendation ones, I could not do it. Anyway, thanks again for the help!
