  • I assume the message was actually “104: API Key can not be blank”? If so, something in your setup has lost it. Without being able to replicate that phenomenon, the best I can suggest is to use the “Logout” option, re-enter your username and password, and see if things start working.

    still not working today – same error message “API key can not be blank” when i try to subscribe on the site.

    Is anyone seeing this issue? It has been over 24 hours now since I reported it and wondering if there is some sort of resolution we can attain? If not, please suggest an alternate ‘subscribe’ widget that works with Mail chimp and wordpress and I’ll happily try it. I am unable to have people subscribe to my site and Im worried about losing opportunites for business ,

    No one has ever reported that issue and I can’t reproduce it. As far as I can tell, it’s specific to your setup and that makes troubleshooting it incredibly difficult.

    I’m not aware of any other actual plugins, but you can use the embed code form for your list that we offer inside the application.

    The problem is that the API key needs to be reset in MailChimp WordPress Settings.
