  • Hey Mark!

Just so we’re on the same page, are you talking about the field labels such as “first name” or “email address”? Or are you talking about the help text such as “Add your first name, here.”?

Additionally, can you point me to your website so we can have a closer look?

    Cheers

Thanks so much for the incredibly quick reply.

It is the field labels such as First Name etc. that don’t seem to be working.

Our site is https://narbars.org and I currently have plugin version 1.24 installed which is the last version that showed the labels.

    Hmm… that’s odd.

We aren’t seeing the same thing on this end with either 1.2.5 or 1.2.6. Here’s the screenshot:

Have you tried to style the form either through CSS or using our built-in editor? My only thought would be that somehow the form labels were matching the background color. Failing that, are there any other plugins that you have installed? We can try to see if there’s a conflict somewhere, but it seems odd that just the field labels would get nuked.

    Give us a shout back!

    Cheers

    HI,

I installed 1.26 and you can see what is happening.

    Thanks

    Got it!

Okay, so it looks like the margin that’s been applied to the input boxes pushed them up so that they covered the field labels. When we remove that margin, here’s how things appear:

Your best bet is going to be to disable the styling under “MailChimp Setup” and make sure that the CSS doesn’t have any margin for #mc_signup_form .mc_input.

    Hope that helps!

    Cheers
