[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] No notification email is sent, email not added to list

    Using WP 3.3.1 and 1.2.6 of mailchimp.

    Have noticed other cosmetic issues already reported, but all that aside: functionality is just not there. Testing signing up to my own list fails.

    Fill out form with email address and name and get confirmation message.

    What I expected:
    To get email and to see address added to the list.

    Instead:
    Got no email, and no added subscribers.

    Turns out the email did get send and arrived, but with about an hour delay.

    So: patience, little monkeys!

    No prob, Iners! Glad everything worked out.

    Sometimes the confirmation emails can be delayed by the receiving email server depending on the volume of incoming emails, spam filters, etc.
