    Btw, it would be nice if you could add those default labels to the localization strings (e.g. “Email Address”).

    i.e. I’ve changed mailchimp_widget.php at line 258 to:
    $label = '<label for="'.esc_attr($opt).'" class="mc_var_label">'.__(esc_html($var['name']), 'mailchimp_i18n');

    Thanks for sharing! As far as the field labels, that actually gets pulled straight from your list’s settings rather than from the translation. So, if the field was named “Email Address” in your list, the plugin will also reflect that same field name.
