[Plugin: MailPress] Batch send stuck in pending, how to fix?

I’ve setup MailPress 5.01 on a multisite installation of WP 3.04. I
have the batch set talked to the host to help me add a cron to run every 15 minutes to make sure batches get sent. They say they see no activity in mail server from MailPress in batches, only individual emails seem to be able to go out.

I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin and addons and it still is stuck at pending. It works just fine sending individual emails, just
no batches for some reason. I have double checked all settings and
seem to fine, compared it to another installation I have that is
working the only difference is it’s not on multisite. Are there any
plugin conflicts that could be affecting this or is there something
else I should be looking at?

I have read the MailPress site and added a note on group support, but haven’t found a solution yet. Any ideas would be extremely helpful.
