    Thank you André!

    I just received my first daily newsletter with an ai1ec event included!

    Hi,

    first of all – thanks for this brilliant plugin ! I use it since 2 years and recommend it to all my friends using wordpress!

    Regarding the custom post types i have only one question:

    is it also possible to integrate the qouoted solution

    <processor>
    <query_posts>
    <post_type>post</post_type>
    <post_type>my_post_type</post_type>
    </query_posts>
    </processor>

    into a mailinglist – newsletter. I do not use the daily, weekly or monthly templates. I need to send a specific newsletter with a introductory text and then automatically use up to 8 Posts of a custom post type (the events calendar) …

    is it possible ?? Where i have to put the code ?

    Many thanks in advance …

    the <processor></processor> trick only applies to newsletters (daily, weekly, monthly)

    for your specific need you might need to use to Post add-on using the manual template

    @andré …

    many thanks for your reply !!!

    I will try it with the add on and the manual template and give a feedback !!!!

    Thanks a lot !!!

    @rendsvig84 – Were you able to select the newsletter category for your event in Settings->MailPress->Subscriptions. I’m also using All In One Calendar and trying to get it to work with MailPress. It works wonderfully when it’s generating email notification on new post. I’m trying to test out Daily Newsletter and include my events but I’m not sure 1. How to force it to email me as a test
    2. How to show the Subscription to include the Events Categories as IO have defined in AE1C.

    Wondering if you could please expand on all the steps you took to get your first daily newsletter to work. All I’ve done is edit daily.xml as documented by @andre.

    Thanks so much!

    @andré thanks for the info – looking forward for the new release ! ?? thx a lot ! ??

    renaut … first of all I want to thank you for the swift integration of the editable FROM field in Mailpress.

    Now I’d like to add my vote for custom taxonomy newsletters. Working on a site that’s using this extensively. There are actually no POSTS or PAGES being used, and we’d really like to use MailPress for this.
