[Plugin: MailPress] Instal not working

Hi,

I have been using MailPress on my site and wanted to upgrade to the new MailPress but when I did so, I had an error. So I deleted the plugin and then tried to re instal it, but I am getting this message:

Unpacking the plugin package

Could not create directory: /home/****/public_html/wp-content/upgrade/mailpress302/mailpress/mp-includes/js

Installation Failed

Any ideas anyone? I am not sure if I need to delete the old database tables for MailPress before I try and re instal it (and to be honest that freaks me out a bit, so may need some advice!).
