Plugin makes Date/Poster line yellow

When I activate the plugin, it makes the author/date/category line beneath a posting or page yellow. The text is still black, but it’s on a yellow background.
Turn off the plugin, the yellow goes away.
Any ideas? I’m using the Clear Line theme.
