Plugin may be what I need but have concerns

  • OK, I have over 350 images that were uploaded originally at 807×2048 and look bad when displayed, so I resized them all to 1200×1200 on my local PC. When I looked for it I see it has the same name in the Folder (image 2 – Amber_Wood_Vein_PolishedFinish.jpg) but also has been rescaled and even seems to now have the name “-scaled.jpg” in WP upload files (image 1).
    In order for this to work, do I have to add the image and have it renamed with the -scaled.jpg as seen in the second image?

    Do I need to delete all of the rescaled sizes are they were taken from the original image?
