  • Same here. I can’t even use the plugin’s “custom text field” – I can put in text, but this text doesn’t get updated, it reverts back to the default (blog author’s name).

Sorry about this, all. I’ll look into it and try to figure out what might be going on. Are you using version 0.5.1?

    Thanks,
    Scott

I’m having the same problems and I am using 0.5.1.

Same issue… awesome plugin though. Let me know when it’s fixed.

    Yes, 0.5.1

Hey guys, thanks for being patient. So the issues are related to the autocomplete script that I’m using (the one in jQuery UI 1.8). I’m determining if I can continue to use this (jQuery UI message boards!) or if I have to abandon it and switch to a different script. I’ll post back as soon as I have an update.

    Fabulous! Many thanks!

Okay, I just updated the plugin to version 0.5.5. Things should be much more stable now. For those interested, I switched the version of autocomplete to an older, slightly less robust, but much more stable version, and there should be no loss of functionality or conflicts in the admin section ever again ??

Upgrade directly from within your admin section and hopefully things will be dandy (including correctly saving the text entered in the settings). Let me know if you hit any roadblocks or glitches.

Thanks again for all your patience!

I think this can be marked as resolved now.
